Job summary

The Walsh Group, a fourth-generation family-owned construction company, is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for our transportation division in Miami, FL. You will develop and analyze project schedules, coordinate with management and subcontractors, and drive scheduling best practices across complex projects.

Ideal candidates will have 6–10 years of scheduling experience, a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree (preferred), and strong Primavera P6 skills.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• 6–10 years of project scheduling experience.
• Primavera P6 experience required.
• Knowledge of baseline schedule, progress schedule, recovered schedule, total float, critical path, predecessors and successors, float trending, and constraints.
• Claim experience and time impact analysis experience preferred.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a baseline schedule coordinating with project management, superintendents and subcontractors.
• Uses scheduling software to implement, maintain and analyze the project schedule.
• Includes coding and loading of resources, costs, and general sequencing information; performs critical path analyses.
• Manages project controls to assess risk and apply best practices and standards.
• Prepares and presents complex risk and impact assessments for schedule changes.
• Forecasts and analyzes changes to schedule and their impact on cost and timeline.
• Leads schedule-related meetings and distributes detailed reports.
