Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for its Transportation division in Miami, FL. You will develop and manage complex project schedules, coordinating with management, superintendents, and subcontractors to drive on-time delivery.

You will lead scheduling analyses, forecast budgets related to schedules, and produce detailed reports for senior leadership. A strong background in Primavera P6 and multi-project environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• 6-10 years of project scheduling experience.
• Primavera experience required (P6 preferred).
• Understand baseline, progress, recovered schedules and critical path.
• Experience with claims and time impact analysis.
• Ability to multi-task in large teams and solve complex problems.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a baseline schedule with project management, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Uses scheduling software to implement, maintain, and analyze the project schedule.
• Manages controls, risk assessments, and change impact on schedule.
• Analyzes schedule changes and impacts on cost and timeline.
• Documents and reviews all change orders and delays with impact.
• Makes scheduling meeting leadership and prepares reports.
• Forecasts and manages project budget in relation to schedule.
• Tracks baselines and creates contingency plans.
• Acts as an experienced resource for claims and mitigations.
• Produces complex modeling and ensures scheduling system meets project needs.
