Job summary

H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Representative to support heavy civil and highway construction projects across Eastern PA, NJ, and Delaware.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of health and safety experience in heavy civil construction or OSHA-regulated industries.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to travel locally on daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Inspects job sites to detect hazards and documents findings, recommending corrective actions.
• Conducts root cause analyses of incidents and develops preventive measures.
• Collects incident documentation and supports regulatory reporting.
• Develops and conducts safety training to promote a safety-focused culture.
• Participates in regulatory audits and assists with compliance and corrective actions.
• Coordinates with Field Safety Specialists to ensure coverage across sites.
• Potentially performs industrial hygiene surveys and recommends PPE.
