Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred.
• 5+ Years of commercial construction experience within a lead safety role is required.
• OCIP experience is strongly preferred.
• CHST and OSHA 510 Certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures to align with OSHA requirements.
• Conduct safety-related investigations for the company.
• Recommend solutions to safety issues, opportunities for improvement, or new prevention measures.
• Develop, execute, and enforce Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites.
• Ensure safety program compliance across large construction projects near Meridian, MS.

Education

Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction

5+ Years of commercial construction experience within a lead safety role

OCIP experience
