Job summary

FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Manager for a 1.5-3 year project with a large construction client near Rayville, LA. The role requires Monday-Saturday, 6-10 dayshift hours for the project duration, with per diem available for non-local candidates, and a focus on developing and enforcing Health and Safety policies on all job sites.

Responsibilities include evaluating practices to OSHA compliance, conducting safety investigations, and recommending improvements or preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety or related field is strongly preferred.
• CHST certification required; OSHA 510 certification preferred.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience in a lead safety role.

Job description

This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.
