Frontline Wildfire Defense is seeking a builder-minded Director of Construction Safety to lead safety across residential and commercial installations. You will set strategy, build a scalable program, and guide a team with stop-work authority, partnering with operations, legal, and finance to scale nationally.

The role requires frequent travel within California and to other states, a strong background in OSHA compliance, and hands-on program development across multiple regions.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of construction safety experience with leadership in residential/commercial settings.
• Proven ability to build or rebuild a multi-location safety program.
• Experience leading safety professionals and managing subcontractor safety.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and Cal/OSHA construction orders.
• Strong communication and incident investigation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Set vision and multi-year roadmap for construction safety across regions.
• Lead safety team development, budget, training, and programs.
• Own risk management, audits, KPI reporting, and stop-work authority.
• Develop field safety programs and JHAs for various trades and sites.
• Oversee subcontractor safety prequalification, onboarding, and scoring.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and incident response across markets.
