Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee end-to-end installation of wildfire defense systems in NorCal/Bay Area. You will ensure high-quality execution, stay within budget and timelines, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This high-impact role offers leadership growth as we scale, with frequent collaboration among field crews, inspectors, and internal teams across California.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management in residential or fire protection systems.
• Understanding of residential construction, permitting, and fire safety regulations.
• Experience managing contractors, architects, and local inspectors.
• Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all system installations, on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop processes for supply chain, inventory management, job costing, and system installation.
• Oversee material procurement and tracking, ensuring timely deliveries and proper inventory management.
• Work with inspectors, local building officials, and fire departments for regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary contact for homeowners, contractors, architects, and builders.
• Provide technical support and guidance during installation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams on site visits and project scoping.
• Recruit, train, and manage installation team members (foremen, subcontractors).
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture and cross-team collaboration.
• Help improve system design, installation processes, and documentation with engineers.
