Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience in construction health and safety with knowledge of Federal, State, and local regs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Safety preferred but not required; OSHA trainer credential is valued.
• OSHA Construction Industry Outreach Trainer and CHST certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, communicate, enforce, and identify opportunities for improvements in corporate safety programs.
• Mentor and supervise Safety Managers as required by Regional Safety Director.
• Provide administrative support for project safety documents in OnTrac.
• Coordinate safety planning meetings with subcontractors ensuring compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards.
• Review Subcontractors Site Specific Safety Programs and Job Hazard Analyses before mobilization.
• Conduct site evaluations and track corrective actions using Predictive Solutions.
• Attend toolbox talks and ensure documentation quality.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate with Risk Managers on root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Regional Risk Manager on claims trends and risk planning.
• Ensure training of subcontractor employees in required safety topics.
