Job summary

Onni Group is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety across Washington offices and properties. You will develop and manage behavior-based safety programs, ensure OSHA compliance, and conduct root-cause analyses of incidents to improve safety culture and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in construction or property management, 3+ years in safety management and training, and strong communication skills to coordinate with operations, subcontractors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• B.S. Occupational Safety & Health Engineering or related field.
• Construction Health & Safety Certification (CHSR) a plus.
• Auditor certificate an asset.
• 5+ years of construction or property management experience.
• 3+ years safety management and training experience.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific safety plans and JHAs/AHAs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of sites and offices and oversee high-risk operations.
• Deliver orientations and targeted training on high-hazard activities.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA logs and regulatory reporting; ensure compliance across sites.
• Track safety KPIs and present performance data to leadership.
