W.E. O'Neil Construction seeks a Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives, train field personnel on OSHA and Cal/OSHA requirements, and collaborate with subcontractors to reduce incidents while maintaining project schedules.

The role requires a four-year degree in safety or related field, 4–7 years of construction safety experience, and strong leadership with excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualificações

• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant project field safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification; CDL is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety programs and training on site.
• Mentor project personnel on safety goals and resolutions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and owners on safety concerns.
• Enforce safety programs to ensure consistency across projects.
• Review JHAs and DTHAs for site-specific work steps and hazards.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes and corrective actions.
