Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead safety on world-class projects. You will enforce Clark’s Safety and Health Policy and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, while educating field teams to develop safe work plans.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to manage multiple projects, and proactive hazard mitigation. You will recruit and mentor staff, coordinate with project supervisors, and drive a culture of care where safety comes

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage large-scale, high-profile projects.
• Proven experience in safety program development and implementation.
• Training and certification in crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety.
• Exposure to preconstruction efforts.
• Strong ability to communicate, persuade, and gain buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
• Excel at balancing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project.
• Oversee and ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and general public.
• Enforce corporate and project safety and health programs and standards.
• Manage and mentor staff and client expectations.
• Identify known or potential exposures and recommend corrective action.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement project-specific safety programs.
• Partner with field supervision to include safety in planning of construction activities.
• Develop project-specific safety education for jobsite personnel, including subcontractors.
• Drive and create a safety vision and align the team to deliver a safe workplace.
• Facilitate third party safety reviews including OSHA.
• Understand workers compensation and lead efforts in managing claims.
• Proactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to win right work.
• Recruit top industry talent to join Clark and retain outstanding people.
• Exceed stakeholder expectations by anticipating needs and goals.
