Job summary

EIS Holding seeks a Safety Manager to oversee the company's safety program nationwide, with on-site field inspections, policy maintenance, and site-specific safety plans in line with OSHA, state, and local regs.

You will train field staff on hazards, manage DOT program, travel 50-100% to job sites, and ensure incident reporting and investigation. A Bachelor's degree and OSHA 500, plus asbestos/lead experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years related experience in safety.
• Minimum four years of proven safety program management in construction.
• Experience with asbestos and lead regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 500 certification.
• DOT and FMCSA compliance knowledge.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, implement and supervise safety programs.
• Provide construction safety oversight for abatement, decontamination, renovation, remediation, demolition.
• Develop and execute health and safety plans according to OSHA.
• Conduct site safety inspections and train staff.
• Manage DOT requirements.
• Travel 50% - 75% of the time.
• Audit documentation and walk-throughs to observe safety behaviors.
• Present safety topics to employees and management.
