Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. seeks a Safety Lead to ensure safe execution of projects, oversee a on-site safety team, and coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, training, and compliance with safety regulations across construction sites. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in OHS or related field with 3–5 years of construction safety experience, CHST/OSHA credentials preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field with relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in commercial/industrial construction site safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site safety team, including training and development.
• Communicate safety practices across project teams and conduct performance reviews.
• Approve weekly timecards and PTO schedules; lead incident reviews and reporting.
• Assist in safety plan development for construction projects and interface with general contractors/subcontractors.
• Coordinate field observations, produce safety summary reports, and support training initiatives.
• Provide training in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Respiratory Protection, and Confined Space entries.
