Job summary

Murray Company seeks a Safety Manager to plan, implement, and supervise health and safety on construction sites in Southern California. You will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, train staff, and coordinate with project teams to prevent incidents.

Required CHST, OSHA 500, 5+ years’ oversight experience, and strong communication skills. Travel to project sites in the greater SoCal area is expected.

Qualifications

• CHST certification and OSHA 500 required.
• 5+ years safety oversight on construction sites.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Attend jobsite pre-task meetings and coordinate with supervision to develop work plans.
• Oversee critical work plan activities to ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Coordinate with General Contractors and site safety personnel to close safety items and keep work flowing.
