Job summary

C.A. Murren & Sons is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety processes on construction projects. You will work with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure safety compliance and a strong safety culture.

Strong leadership and communication are essential to drive injury-free project outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), OSHA 500/510, CHST (preferred), and 10–15 years in construction safety, with travel up to 4–5 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • CHST Certification preferred.
  • 10-15 years of construction safety experience.
  • OSHA 500, 510 required.
  • Travel up to 4–5 days per week.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of safety programs and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessments as needed.
  • Provide safety training to company personnel.
  • Coordinate and monitor project safety programs to minimize losses.
  • Participate in incident, near-miss investigations, and reporting.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for future projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and communicate updates to leadership.
