Job summary

International Contractors Inc. is seeking a Safety & Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen our safety culture across project sites nationwide.

You will develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs that meet OSHA regulations, company policies, and client expectations, with Walmart as a key program liaison. You will train field staff, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement while traveling to sites 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or safety or related field.
• 5+ years leadership experience in construction safety and compliance.
• Experience with large-scale construction safety programs (e.g., Walmart) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve safety and compliance programs aligned with OSHA and client requirements.
• Conduct safety walks, inspections, hazard assessments and follow-up on identified risks.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety and compliance training for field staff and project teams.
• Maintain and update safety policies, manuals, and training materials.
• Conduct internal audits of jobsites, trailers, and project documentation.
• Manage environmental compliance (stormwater, hazardous waste, air quality).
• Serve as liaison for client compliance programs and ensure audit readiness.
• Establish standardized procedures for project trailers, safety binders, and compliance materials.
• Track safety performance indicators and report to leadership.
• Travel to project sites 3–4 days per week.
