Flatiron Dragados USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced safety professional to oversee safety programs across project sites in Hawaii.

The role requires leading safety practices, conducting trainings, and ensuring compliance with permits and certifications to prevent delays. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Health & Safety and 8+ years of construction or safety experience, with proven ability to mentor safety teams and deliver effective on-site training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in construction or safety is required.
• Experience managing construction or safety teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety program and procedures for one or more project sites.
• Perform project site trend analysis and ensure accurate incident tracking.
• Develop and conduct safety orientations, trainings and toolbox talks for staff.
• Ensure permits and certifications are active, documented and tracked.
• Provide technical safety guidance for training, equipment, and inspections.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and procurement for safety items.
• Provide project status and trend analysis to management.
• Oversee injury reporting and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Review Daily Hazard Analyses (DHA) and support JHA discussions.
• Create or approve worksite safety and evacuation plans.
• Support emergency response and access planning with Project Manager.
