Job summary

Goodfellow Bros., Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to promote and maintain a safe work environment across Hawaii and the region.

The role collaborates with project teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and the company Safety & Health Manual, conducting site inspections and driving corrective actions. The position leads Safety Specialists, oversees training, and maintains records, while ensuring adherence to OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and Workers’ Compensation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in occupational safety.
• CHST, CSP/GSP/ASP certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support Safety Specialists throughout the region to ensure consistent safe performance and compliance.
• Coach and guide employees on safety expectations, best practices, and adherence to the Company’s Safety Program.
• Implement and oversee the Safety & Health Manual, including programs to minimize workplace risks and prevent incidents.
• Ensure completion of required safety training and maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and Workers’ Compensation requirements.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and safety assessments, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
