McKenney’s, Inc. seeks a Senior Risk Management professional to lead enterprise risk strategy across construction and service operations. The role focuses on insurance program design, claims strategy, and risk assessment while collaborating with Safety, Legal, Finance, and Operations.

Excellent knowledge of construction risk and multi-line insurance is essential. The position requires 8+ years in risk management with construction exposure; advanced designations are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive risk management experience in construction, mechanical/electrical contracting, or related industries.
• Experience partnering with Safety, Legal, Finance, and Operations leadership.
• CPCU designation in progress.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, negotiation, and administration of the company's insurance programs across GL, workers' comp, auto, umbrella/excess, and builder's risk.
• Partner with brokers, carriers, and underwriters to optimize coverage, pricing, and renewal strategy.
• Oversee claims management across all lines with legal, safety, and operations to reduce loss frequency and severity.
• Develop and maintain enterprise risk assessment frameworks for mechanical/construction operations.
• Review and negotiate contract risk-transfer language on customer and subcontractor agreements.
• Partner with Safety leadership to align risk mitigation with field operations and reduce EMR/incident trends.
• Manage relationships with TPAs, brokers, and legal counsel.
• Analyze loss trends and build data-driven reporting for executive leadership and the Board.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration from risk/insurance perspective as the company grows.
• Ensure compliance with bonding, surety, and contractual insurance requirements across active projects.
• Lead or support business continuity and crisis management planning.
