Zurich Insurance is seeking a Senior Construction Specialties Risk Engineer to support Builder’s Risk in Florida with remote work and periodic office visits. The role includes a company car and 25-30% travel, delivering risk assessments and risk reduction guidance for construction clients.

Responsibilities include leveraging risk engineering tools, supporting underwriters and claims, and preparing both external and internal reports to guide insurance decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology or equivalent with 6+ years of related experience.
• High School Diploma with 8+ years in Engineering, Construction/Building Technology or equivalent.
• Zurich Certified Apprentice with Associate's degree and 6+ years in Risk Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Lead risk engineering surveys and risk assessments for construction projects and operations.
• Provide technical support to customers, underwriters and claims; develop improvement strategies.
• Prepare external marketplace reports and internal underwriting/claims/risk decision reports.
