Qualifications

• Ten or more years of construction inspection/observation on water, wastewater, or public infrastructure projects.
• Five or more years of direct inspection/observation on water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and construction observations on water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and contract requirements.
• Document deficiencies, non-conforming work, safety concerns, and potential risks.
• Verify quantities of installed work and assist with measurement and payment documentation.
• Monitor progress and report schedule impacts, delays, and potential claims issues.
• Observe material deliveries, equipment installation, testing, startup procedures, and commissioning operations.
• Support substantial completion, final acceptance, and project closeout activities.

Job Description:OverviewThe Senior Construction Representative is responsible for providing construction observation, inspection, documentation, and contract compliance support for water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects. The position serves as the owner's on-site representative, monitoring construction activities to verify compliance with plans, specifications, permits, safety requirements, approved submittals, and contract documents.Treatment plant construction experience is a required qualification for this position. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience supporting the construction, expansion, rehabilitation, startup, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
