Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Senior Construction Representative to provide on-site construction observation, documentation, and contract compliance support for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role serves as the owner's on-site representative, ensuring adherence to plans, permits, submittals, and safety requirements, with startup and commissioning support as needed.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of construction inspection/observation on water, wastewater, or public infrastructure projects.
• Five or more years of direct inspection/observation on water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and construction observations on water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and contract requirements.
• Document deficiencies, non-conforming work, safety concerns, and potential risks.
• Verify quantities of installed work and assist with measurement and payment documentation.
• Monitor progress and report schedule impacts, delays, and potential claims issues.
• Observe material deliveries, equipment installation, testing, startup procedures, and commissioning operations.
• Support substantial completion, final acceptance, and project closeout activities.
