Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large-scale projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC requirements. You will supervise field inspectors and technicians, write the QC plan, and run three-phase meetings.

You will coordinate laboratory testing, manage nonconformances, and ensure test results meet contract standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• USACE CQM-C certificate and ICC/NICET certifications.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT or industrial owner programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and obtain acceptance from the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage.
• Manage nonconformance and corrective-action processes and present in QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate lab testing, mix designs, and material certifications across subcontractors.
