Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large, multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, and federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements.

You will supervise field inspectors and technicians and write the project QC plan, chair three-phase control meetings with the owner's QA representative, and take responsibility for all test results.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• USACE CQM-C certificate plus ICC special inspector or NICET Level III certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Clear, assertive communication with superintendents and owner reps.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and secure owner acceptance.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage.
• Run NCR/corrective-action processes and present outcomes in QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications.
