Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC on designated projects, ensuring construction meets established minimum standards and proper documentation is maintained. You will review submittals, lead QC meetings, conduct inspections, document findings, and coordinate with project managers and field staff to drive a quality product on schedule.

You will stop work if necessary to resolve safety or quality issues and maintain logs for inspections and occupancy

Qualifications

• Construction industry experience required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to inspect and document quality control processes.
• Strong communication with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and QC reports.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
• Chair weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide minutes.
• Provide daily QC reports and address non-conformances promptly.
• Conduct inspections and document final inspections and occupancy certificates.
• Stop work if necessary to resolve safety or quality issues.
• Coordinate with project managers and field personnel.
