Job summary

BLHI is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee daily QC responsibilities on BLHI projects in Beaufort, SC. You will review documentation, inspect work, coordinate with project managers, and ensure construction meets established standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining submittal logs, reviewing shop drawings, leading weekly QC meetings, and documenting inspections and occupancy milestones. OSHA 30 certification and 5 years construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Construction industry experience required (5+ years).
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to manage and document QC processes per project standards.
• Excellent communication with project team and external personnel.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and QC reports.
• Review drawings and submittals for conformance with project specs.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent.
• Provide daily QC reports and address non-conformances promptly.
• Conduct preparatory and follow-up meetings to set quality standards.
• Verify materials meet approved submittals and are stored properly.
• Schedule and document inspections and re-inspections for non-conformances.
• Document final inspections and occupancy certificates.
