Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior Quality Control Manager to ensure project work meets contract specs, owner requirements, and applicable codes. You will lead a transparent, excellence-focused QC team and coordinate with owners, designers, and contractors to deliver high-quality construction.

The role emphasizes active leadership, effective communication with diverse stakeholders, and the development of robust testing procedures and QC plans across major projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in construction or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10+ years verifiable construction quality control/inspection experience.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and buy-in across a broad stakeholder group.
• Demonstrated alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence.
• Proven ability to develop creative strategic solutions.
• Experience managing inspectors, submittal clerks, and coordinating material testing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project team to implement drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Lead the Three Phases of Control Quality Plan.
• Oversee submittal reviews and approvals.
• Schedule and conduct QC meetings: Preparatory, Initial, Follow-up.
• Coordinate third-party testing and interface with Owner reps.
• Maintain project deficiency log and punch list.
• Lead staff training and development in quality control.
• Recruit top industry talent to Clark team.
