Qualifications

• Accredited two or three year Technical or Engineering Technology diploma with 15 years of work-related experience or 17 years if no accreditation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Job-related technical knowledge to complete principal duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Lead Auditor to plan, perform, report quality audits of a variety of construction activities.
• Perform physical inspection of several disciplines including welding, piping, civil, concrete, buildings, and equipment.
• Enforce and champion the site quality program requirements and other project quality/technical requirements.
• Direct one or more Construction Quality Managers/Supervisors and inspect staff across multiple project areas.
• Provide quality input to site-issued purchase orders or contract bid documents.
