Job summary

Yukon Management, LLC seeks an experienced Construction Site Safety and Quality Control Manager to oversee federal projects at the Grand Canyon, AZ. This full-time role requires coordinating QC plans, ensuring compliance with EM385-1-1 and USACE RMS 3.0, and delivering accurate reports and close-out documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a four-year engineering-related degree and at least five years as a QC Manager on similar contracts, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction or Building Science.
• 10 years of combined experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager or Project Engineer on a similar size and type of construction contract.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Manager.
• Experience on USACE or Federal projects required.
• Knowledge of EM385-1-1 and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read specs and plans and prepare quality control documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications,plansand resource documents todeterminerequirements and planning procedures as outlined in the RFP.
• Develop and implement Quality Control plan.
• Maintaincurrent records providing factual evidence thatrequiredquality control activities and tests have been performed .
• Complete all reports and records inan accurateandtimelymanner.
• Document and updateappropriate logs.
• Conduct,attendandparticipatein project meetings.
• Coordinate Three Phase of ControlPlanPreparatory, Initial and Final Phases.
• Maintain quality control by frequent and regular inspection of work and work-in-progress.
• Maintain an orderly and clean presence on thejobsite.
• Complete job close-out procedures.
• Able to work in Quality Control System (QCS)/ USACE Resident Management System (RMS 3.0)
• Traveling/relocation will berequired.
