Job summary

Cedar Band Corporation in Yuma, AZ, seeks a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to define, inspect and document daily work for federal construction contracts. The QCM reports to the Superintendent to ensure compliance with project standards, safety and quality goals.

Ideal candidates have several years of USACE/NAVFAC project experience, a USACE CQM certification, and proficiency with MS Office, Project, Procore and documentation workflows. On-site work at Yuma Proving Grounds is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as Quality Control Manager on USACE/NAVFAC projects greater than $12M
• Must currently possess USACE CQM certification and EM385-1-1 or OSHA 40
• Experience working with Federal agencies on construction projects at Military installations

Responsibilities

• Provide overall project quality control across deliveries, materials, and installations
• Perform preparatory/initial/final inspections of features of work and manage submittals and materials testing
• Review submittals for conformance with drawings, specs and change directives
• Document non-conformances and ensure timely corrective actions
• Maintain as-built drawings and coordinate testing and commissioning of building systems
• Lead site safety operations and document safety equipment inspections
