Job summary

Armitage Architecture Inc. (Armitage) is seeking an experienced construction professional to serve as either a Site Superintendent or Quality Control Manager for federal construction projects in Las Vegas.

The role involves leading daily operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality in accordance with EM 385 1-1 and other contract requirements. The ideal candidate has a degree in Construction Management or related field (or 7 years field experience with a QC

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical field with 4+ years of experience in a similar role for projects over $1M OR 7 years of experience with 5 years as QC Manager in lieu of degree.
• QCM license: PE or Architecture license
• Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers or Air Force base projects
• Current CPR/First Aid, CMQ-C, OSHA 30, EM 385 1-1 compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction operations and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and project teams.
• Manage project schedules, site logistics, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure safety plan compliance and training; review plans, RFIs, submittals, and docs.
• Administer the Contractor Quality Control program and coordinate inspections.
• Prepare daily QC reports and maintain project quality documentation.
