Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Chandler, AZ, seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large or multi‑phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements.

You will write and maintain the project quality control plan, run three-phase meetings, supervise inspectors and technicians, and coordinate laboratory testing and material certifications across subsites from the Chandler, AZ region.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection, including supervisory responsibility
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs
• Ability to present data clearly and hold positions with owners and superintendents

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and obtain owner/agency acceptance
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for definable features of work
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review reports
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action processes and present results in owner QA/QC meetings
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors
