Job summary

KingSoft LLC is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee quality requirements for a new boiler plant, building and site construction, and demolition of an existing facility. You will verify that construction complies with drawings, specs, submittals and project requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing and implementing the quality control plan, coordinating inspections, reviewing documents, coordinating labs and inspectors, and maintaining quality records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or PE license with 4+ years of construction experience (or 8+ years in related construction).
• Minimum 1 year of construction quality control experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and testing requirements.
• Experience coordinating with labs, inspectors and commissioning-related systems.
• Strong documentation and records management skills.
• Experience collaborating with superintendents and project managers in QC activities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Federal QC experience preferred.
• USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the project quality control plan.
• Coordinate preparatory, initial and follow-up quality inspections.
• Review construction documents and approved submittals before installation.
• Verify inspection readiness before concrete placement, concealment and equipment installation.
• Coordinate testing laboratories, inspectors and subcontractor quality activities.
• Monitor civil works, foundations, reinforcing steel, structural steel and building systems.
• Document deficiencies, track corrective actions and verify resolution.
• Maintain inspection reports, testing records and quality logs.
• Support commissioning, punch-list inspections and final acceptance.
• Coordinate closely with the superintendent and project manager.
