Job summary

KingSoft LLC seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field execution of a commercial and industrial project involving a boiler plant, building construction, site improvements and demolition of existing facilities.

You will interpret complete drawings, coordinate multiple subcontractors, and manage work from foundations through equipment installation to project completion, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of on-site construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and crews on commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong scheduling, sequencing and look-ahead planning skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily construction activities and coordinate subcontractor foremen.
• Read and coordinate civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Plan foundations, basements, phased concrete pours, steel erection and building enclosure.
• Coordinate sleeves, embeds, anchor bolts, underground utilities and equipment access.
• Maintain look-ahead schedules and coordinate labor, deliveries, equipment and inspections.
• Identify drawing conflicts and work with the project manager to resolve them.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation with structural and architectural work.
• Manage site logistics, shutdown coordination and protection of adjacent operations.
• Maintain daily reports and monitor subcontractor progress.
• Work closely with the project manager, quality control manager and safety officer.

This position requires someone who can interpret complete construction drawings, coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage work from foundations through equipment installation and project completion.

• Maintain look-ahead schedules and coordinate labor, deliveries, equipment and inspections.
• Identify drawing conflicts and missing information and work with the project manager to resolve them.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation with structural and architectural work.
• Manage site logistics, shutdown coordination and protection of adjacent operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel and substantial mechanical/electrical systems.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and specifications and coordinate multiple trades.
• Experience managing construction sequencing and phased concrete operations.
• Experience on construction projects with values in the few millions.
• Experience coordinating with owners, inspectors, and teams working around active operations, including shutdown-sensitive sites.
• Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Federal, VA, hospital, central utility plant or boiler plant experience preferred.
