Job summary

CMP Services is seeking a Construction Project Scheduler IV to support our team at Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). The role focuses on developing and reviewing project schedules, performing schedule and cost analysis, evaluating change orders and claims, and supporting capital construction projects through comprehensive scheduling, reporting, and budget monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software and MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling principles.
• Experience with time impact analysis, construction claims and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of project schedules based on defined execution philosophies.
• Perform contractor schedule reviews for conformance and QA.
• Evaluate change orders for impact on budget and schedule.
• Perform time impact analyses of delays and potential claims.
• Participate in change order negotiations and recoveries.
• Conduct Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
• Review contractor progress and report findings to management.
• Analyze actual expenditures versus budget; prepare cost-loaded schedules.
