Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager in Chicago to oversee major construction project schedules from planning through execution. You will develop, maintain, and monitor integrated master schedules while coordinating with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in CPM scheduling, project controls, and data visualization, with proficiency in Power BI, MS Project, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in integrated scheduling, controls, PM, or analytical roles.
• Experience with CPM, schedule analysis, and project controls systems.
• Experience supporting large-scale capital programs in relevant sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project scheduling for major construction projects ($25M–$50M).
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Monitor progress against schedule and update accordingly.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and staff.
• Lead weekly status meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Provide analysis on schedule performance and identify critical paths.
