Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Senior Scheduler to lead enterprise-level schedule management for major capital programs in Illinois. You will own integrated master schedules, guide design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations, and mentor a team of schedulers.

Responsibilities include reporting structures, KPIs, dashboards, risk analysis, and alignment with cost and business outcomes. Strong leadership and Primavera P6 expertise are essential to drive delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
• 12–15+ years of planning and scheduling experience on large-scale capital programs
• Experience in mission critical or data center projects preferred
• Expertise in Primavera P6 required
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong cost, risk, and business-outcome awareness
• Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of enterprise-level schedule management frameworks
• Serve as primary planning advisor to client leadership
• Develop and oversee integrated master schedules aligning design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations
• Drive alignment across internal teams, contractors, and third parties
• Establish program-level reporting structures, KPIs, and executive dashboards
• Lead scenario planning, what-if analysis, and quantitative risk assessments
• Identify critical path impacts and mitigation strategies at project and program levels
• Oversee schedule quality, data integrity, and consistency across projects
• Partner with cost, commercial, and project management leads to align schedule with financial objectives
• Build and mentor a team of schedulers and planners
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations
• Act as a visible leader reinforcing best practices and delivery excellence
