Job summary

Findorff, a Madison-based builder, is seeking a Project Manager for the Special Projects Group to lead complex commercial projects from planning through closeout.

You will manage projects up to $2M, handle budgeting, scheduling, and client communications, and collaborate with field teams to ensure quality and safety. This role emphasizes relationship-building, mentorship, and delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience independently managing commercial projects up to $2M from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and change management.
• Broad knowledge of building systems, construction methods, contract terms, and risk sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships as a trusted contact.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from start to finish including planning, budgeting, procurement, contracts, schedules, and closeout.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure a positive owner experience.
• Manage project financials including forecasting and monthly reporting.
• Partner with field teams to support scheduling, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Lead and mentor project teams and support business development.
