Job summary

Findorff, a Milwaukee-based construction firm with 50+ years of local service, seeks an experienced Project Manager for its Special Projects Group. You will independently lead commercial construction initiatives, from early planning through closeout, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, project teams, and trade partners.

You will guide budgeting, procurement, contracting, scheduling, and documentation, ensuring top-notch results.

Qualifications

5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction.
Experience independently managing commercial construction projects up to $2M from preconstruction through closeout.
Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, cost projections, cash flow, buyout, and change management.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from start to finish, including budgeting, bidding, procurement, contracts, RFIs, submittals, schedules, meetings, documentation, and closeout.
Build strong client relationships and serve as the trusted contact for owners and stakeholders.
Manage project financials: buyout, subcontractor and change order negotiations, forecasting, cost control, and monthly reporting.
Partner with field teams to support scheduling, safety, quality, productivity, and execution.
Lead and develop project teams, mentor others, and foster accountability and collaboration.
Support business development by building relationships and representing Findorff in the community.
