SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in the power infrastructure sector.

This full-time, on-site role is based at a jobsite in Yerington, NV with travel required. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of field construction management experience, with strong leadership, organizational and cost-control skills, and a solid understanding of scheduling, procurement, estimating and contract law.

Competenze

• Engineering/CM or Architecture degree or equivalent experience
• 8-10 years of field construction management experience
• Leadership ability
• Strong problem-solving with sense of urgency
• Organizational and communication skills
• Drafting and computer skills; knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Understanding of PM control systems: scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating

Mansioni

• Manage multiple or large, complex projects
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum)
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery
• Keep project on schedule
• Develop and maintain good relationships with Owner, Architect and Subcontractors
• Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and implement safety procedures
• Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management
• Manage, train, and supervise project team
• Organize regular meetings for management and subcontractors
• Review contract conditions; ensure compliance with all contract terms
• Supervise documentation of significant project events (accidents, delays, Change Orders)
• Direct preconstruction services and activities
• Negotiate, prepare and issue subcontract bid packages
• Assist with business development and interviews
• Maintain quality control and integrity of completed project
• Support estimating staff (bid item specialist)
• Avoid or mitigate claims and conflicts
• Complete all project close-out procedures
• Conduct warranty follow-ups (1-year)
• Complete project with full or enhanced fee
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned
