Job summary

Durwood Greene is seeking a Project Manager to lead asphalt paving, concrete, and heavy civil construction projects across Texas from award through closeout. This role collaborates with Estimating, Contracts, Operations, and Field Management to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in asphalt paving, heavy highway, concrete, site development, or heavy civil construction.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, estimating, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple asphalt paving, concrete, and heavy civil projects from pre-construction through project completion.
• Coordinate activities with Estimating, Contracts, Operations, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, and production goals; monitor financial performance.
• Monitor labor and equipment utilization, subcontractor performance, and material usage to maximize profitability.
• Lead project meetings and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
