DH Pace Company, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

The role requires coordinating with carpentry, drywall and general construction teams, reviewing plans, managing staff, and maintaining strong client communication. A proactive leader will drive project profitability while delivering quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
• Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
• Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by planning, directing, and coordinating activities
• Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, staffing requirements and resource allotment
• Discuss and establish work plan with staff; assign duties and provide technical advice and troubleshooting
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep project on schedule and within budget; review status reports and adjust as needed
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
• Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts
• Responsible for financial success of projects
• Additional company projects as assigned
