Job summary

Forge Constructors in Addison, Texas is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities include creating budgets and schedules, managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and leading OAC meetings to ensure project success and profitability across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, business or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience managing ground-up developments, renovations, and tenant improvements from preconstruction through closeout.
• Procore proficiency; knowledge of RFIs, submittals, pay applications, change orders, permitting, building codes, and OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project turnover and preconstruction meetings with estimating and operations teams.
• Develop project budgets, schedules of values, procurement plans, and project execution strategies.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiate subcontractor proposals, and execute subcontract agreements.
• Manage projects from mobilization through final completion and closeout; maintain schedules with stakeholders.
• Conduct OAC meetings and ensure effective communication with owners, architects, consultants, vendors, and subs.
• Maintain budgets, cost control, forecasting, profitability, and job cost reporting; oversee change orders.
