Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of construction experience, preferably with a general contractor on large-scale projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Ability to manage the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Understand the company contracts and the roles of involved parties.
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activities.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues.
• Oversee project close-out, including turnover of manuals and warranties and final payment documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
• Set deadlines and monitor project progress.
• Promote safety on site and ensure policy compliance.
• Support acquisition of new work through proposals and presentations.
