Private Company in New York seeks a highly experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale construction initiatives from design through completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and top-quality results.

The role requires deep construction management expertise, proactive leadership, and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities include planning, procurement, billing, risk management, reporting, contract administration, and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in construction with a proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects.
• Strong understanding of planning, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and contract administration.
• Extensive experience with large-scale commercial projects.
• Proficient in Procore, MS Project, Primavera, CLI, Trimble, and related tools.
• In-depth knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or PM, or related field; advanced certifications a plus.
• PMP, LEED certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle for large, complex construction projects from planning to close-out.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead project teams including vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance ensuring scope, quality, safety and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with management, clients, authorities, and contractors.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Manage contract negotiations and change orders.
• Ensure safety on site in cooperation with the Safety Manager.
• Maintain quality control across all project phases.
• Prepare for close-out and secure necessary approvals.
• Prepare and deliver project billings to maintain cash flow.
