Overview

A fast-growing commercial construction company specializing in large-scale industrial and design-build projects is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to take ownership of major projects and play a key role in the company's continued expansion.

The company manages substantial construction projects, including warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and specialized industrial buildings, with significant responsibility entrusted to its project leadership.

We're looking for someone who has been in the trenches of major commercial construction projects, knows how to manage complexity, and can take complete ownership from start to finish.

This is not a position for someone who simply tracks schedules and coordinates paperwork. We need a strong, independent construction professional who can think ahead, make decisions, manage people, anticipate problems, and drive projects forward without constant oversight.

This is primarily an office-based leadership role, working directly with ownership to oversee field teams and take responsibility for the execution of multimillion-dollar projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects from planning through completion

• Oversee project execution, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and contractual obligations are met

• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation

• Lead and coordinate on-site project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, contracts, and project execution

• Experience with industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or design-build projects is highly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to oversee field teams and hold people accountable

• Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to anticipate challenges
