Job summary

First Point Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own and deliver large-scale, technically complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance.

You will mentor junior staff, cultivate client relationships, and drive value through rigorous contract administration and change management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience managing projects valued at $50M+.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing abilities.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive project performance to ensure safety, quality, and financial objectives are achieved.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of major construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Working closely with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field operations, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
