Job summary

Black Construction, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Project Manager to join our Guam office. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources and communicate with contractors, designers and owners to control costs and timing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management, a USPE license, 15+ years of construction experience, and PM experience on large projects ($30M+). Strong leadership and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar program from an accredited institution.
• Professional Project Engineer license (USPE)
• Fifteen (15) or more years of related construction experience.
• Five (5) years experience as a project manager on commercial building or heavy civil projects valued at $30M or more.
• Good judgment in addressing technical issues and effectively managing and leading a team.
• Intermediate knowledge/proficiency of MS Office Suite.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Procore and HCSS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources and communicate with contractors, designers and owners concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling.
• Supervisory responsibilities include training and mentoring employees; planning, assigning, delegating and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and resolving issues.
• Manage the project team and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery within safety and quality standards.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards; liaison with owners, regulators, and partners.
• Monitor and control construction through on-site supervision to ensure compliance with plans and budgets.
