Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the construction of large and/or multiple smaller projects, including mechanical or multi‑discipline scopes. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety, and subcontractors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires extensive project management experience in government contracts and construction, with a strong focus on coordinating resources and maintaining quality across teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of managing government contracts.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project).
• OSHA 30 (training provided if not certified).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Create, maintain, and follow construction schedules assigning personnel to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Manage subcontractors per contract requirements, both internally and onsite.
• Ensure safety practices are followed and work is performed safely and productively.
• Communicate with clients, executives, subcontractors, and engineers across trades.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure deliverables are completed timely.
