Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction on large government and commercial energy projects.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation; you will mentor supervisors and ensure compliance with local codes and project requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of managing government contracts
• PMP certification preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• OSHA 30 certification (training arranged if not present)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports
• Create and maintain construction schedules and assign personnel to meet timelines and budget
• Ensure safety practices and compliance with local codes and permitting
• Manage subcontractors per contract requirements and on-site
• Maintain documentation and deliverables on time
• Develop and maintain Project Risk Plans and oversee Quality Assurance
